dotConnected was created as a software practice by a small group of highly experienced IT professionals and software experts determined to bring something new to the IT services market. Since the company has formed we have continued to develop our reputation as experts in systems integration. We have worked with a broad spectrum of clients and have helped each one find the right blend of process engineering, systems integration and bespoke software development to deliver and support cost effective technology connected solutions.

As a systems integrator we have continued to work with our financial services, banking, credit cards, commodities, ocean yacht racing, marine tracking and travel industry clients to deliver a wide portfolio of succesful high quality outsourced projects. Key projects have included point of sale cash top up integration, electronic cash vouchers production and redemption, prepaid card management web sites, foreign exchange services and web based real time decision support for credit card application approvals.

In parallel to building our reputation as system integrators we have also developed a range of online tracking components and solutions. The tracking software has been integrated with a wide variety of different tracking devices and is now being used by a number of clients to deliver maritime tracking services, global ocean racing and other land based activities. Many more clients are now seeing real business benefits from the introduction of online tracking and geospatial decision support.
In April 2009 dotConnected and Stratum 5 joined forced to create trakArace.com which was selected to supply Clipper Ventures Plc with tracking and race analysis software for its Clipper Round The World Race series
